Ok, as you all know on here I have had my fare share of probs. with my Explorer! But I am worried that I have yet another prob., it started last Thursday, when I was turning around in our diveway, I shifted into Drive from Reverse and the truck almost died, I had to hurry and give it gas! At first I didnt think much about it, but then this morning I was waiting in traffic to go to school, and I went to hit the gas to move up in traffic and nothing happened, the truck had died, well after qucikly shifting to Neutral and starting it back I got moving again. My question is what could this be, could it of stored a code in the computer? And to top all things off my Extended warranty ran out at 60485, well this moring I just rolled over to 60500, so isint that just all fine and dandy!!
First thing I would do is change the fuel filter. If you have not done that in a while, you could have some blockage and there is not enough pressure to keep the fuel flowing.
You can go by Auto Zone and have them read the codes for you to see if any are stored. They will do it for free.
