Differences in late Explorer 5.0 motors?
Are there any differences in the basic 5.0 motors between 1997-2001. I know in early 97 they went to the GT40P head and that is the head I want because the Are there any differences in the basic 5.0 motors between 1997-2001. I know in early 97 they went to the GT40P head and that is the head I want because the plug position is better for my marine water jacketed exhaust manifolds. But other than that would compression, cam etc be the same till they went to the 4.6L in 2002?
I don't care about any differences in fuel injection, intake etc because I will use an Edlebrock performer intake and carb.
