Hmmmm...Will this be really loud???
Well ive finally decided on what im doing for my exhaust, and its really quite cheap...so in the end ive decided to go with Hedman long tube headers and Purple Hornie's and itll cost me about $200
I know this is gonna be loud, but will it be really obnoxious loud??? ive never heard purple hornies before and i would like to know what im in for
BTW, this is replacing my entire exhaust system in my truck

I have Dynomax long tubes on my '92 302, and true duals with cherry bomb glasspacks, and that thing is LOUD! I mean, when i step on that gas, you can hear me in the next town. At idle, it isn't very loud, but if I step on the gas just a little bit, it screams. It is really poppy too, I LOVE IT!

The Hornies will have a bit nicer sound then the perftube mufflers (cherry bombs or thrush) But in my opinion a bit nicer too. It will be loud for sure. You are defintly in for a system that will scream. One way to kind of dull the rap that glasspacks have is really big and long tips.
