Wireless Entry Keypad
Just bought installed and removed the Ford Keyleess Entry Keypad
Fits F-Super Duty 99-04
Ford part #3L2Z-14A626-AA $75.00 on Sale regular $167.00
The keypad is 5 1/2" X 1 1/2" X 1/2" kinda deep but it was looking good when I was lining it up to install it but as soon as I removed the backing and placed it on the Truck
it look like
. So I have taken it off and have to go to the autoparts store to get some new backing think I'll install it on the back of the cab or toolbox between the bed and cab.
Great product but it looked to bulky for my taste.

Now This is much better. instead of looking like I tape a garage remote to the side of my door!

Mine stopped working after I installed the Predator tune recently. Is this normal?
What scared me when it was working, my son was playing with the keypad, and he opened the door by just hitting random numbers! So maybe it's good mine is not working anymore.

Don't know if has anything to do with the Predator. Is the keypad still lighting up when you push a key? You may need to reprogram you keypad and your keyfobs all at the same time. The keypad has a master code and you can program in your own. your son my have gotten lucky who knows. There are only 5 keys to push not the 10 numbers it displays, so the key combination is greatly reduced.

I think if you programed your own code, the stock code will still open the door too. At least that is what the Ford manual says. Yes my keypad lights up as soon as any button is pressed. The trouble is the stock codes are all like 5 numbers, and two numbers will be the same, and the other 3 will be close to the first 2 same numbers.
BTW I just went out and tried my code again, and now it works!
And the last 2 buttons will lock your door if you press them simultaneously.

Parts said they were running a special. When I bought it they said they had just got 25 instock. Might check with your local dealer and see if you can get it same price or have Champion ship it to you.
But knowing Ford either it's not selling very well and their clearing invetory or they have a new one coming out.

Hello you can start with the last two as long as you dont hit them at the same time. You still have lots of choices. The Factory code is permanent but you still can have your own code.
