Need some Predator help with speedo
I also would like to say that I updated the Predator to the current rev. and reloaded the performance tune with the modified parameters and drove it for a day. I think I have to revisit my first impression and say the wow factor is quite a bit higher. The tune along with the diagnostic capabilites makes this an impressive little unit for the money. This thing monitors almost everything!
One last thing. In the last half mile of my 38 mile 70mph highway drive home, my ABS light illuminated. Brakes seemed fine. I had the Predator recording a log at the time. When I got to the house, I stopped the log and checked for codes. It showed none. I turned the truck off, then turned the key back to run (didn't start it) after 15-20 secs and the light was off and no codes. I restarted the truck and got no light. Coincidence or problem?
Apparently I recorded too many PIDs and can't view the log on my PC. It will replay on the Predator.
The diagnostic capabilities are extremely impressive, ranking up there with many tools that cost 3 times as much.

As to the question, the ABS light will not show up in the codes on the Predator. Same goes with the Superchips. It does show up with readers designed to read auxillary computers codes, such as the Autotap. Take a look at the brake fluid level, this will often trigger it, especially if you're fast in the curves.
