Door Lights

I was trying to change by door lights to my 1999 F-150 V6 and I broke the bulbs on both doors. I tried to grab the left over pieces with some plier but that didn't work. Any ideas?

If you remove the door panels you can remove the light sockets. That might make it easier to get the broken pieces out.

might sound crazy but a potato works on lightbulbs in houses you might try that
