2001 fuel pump
i was just wondering how much of a task it is to change the fuel pump on a 2001 f-250....i know its electric.....is it something i can do in the driveway or do i have to take it to the shop to get it done??? any input is greatly appreciated cuz im gonna change it next weekend and need to know if i need to make special arrangements

It's very easy. You will need to get the fuel line disconnect tool ($10 at your favorite parts store). Then it's as simple as unhooking the fuel lines from both ends, disconnecting the electrical connector and unbolting it from the frame. From there you lossen the clamp, slide the pump out of the collar, and reverse for the install. Takes all of 30 minutes.
