Have a 77 regular cab with some pretty lound wind noise I am ordering a set of weather strips for the doors in hopes that will fix the problem. Any tips on the best way to put them on. Anything else I can do if that doesnt cut out the noise?? thanks for the help
A few tips I can think of are :
Find the right slovent to get the old strips off.
Use the right kind of adhesive for the new rubber strips.
Put the splice at the bottom, cut it a little long rather than a little short.
Check your door hinges and strikers for wear.
Slip a piece of paper between the cab and stripping to check for a good seal.
