Ford Finance Rates
Has anyone heard anything about Ford's finance rates being extended into December of this year? I know Ford is offering 4.9%(60 month) and 2.9%(48 month) on everything and for some qualified buyers, 0% on selected models.
GM has just announced today they will be extending their finance rate
incentives, on some models, until January of 2002.

Ford Finance Rates
They announced the following today: "Ford has extended zero-percent financing on 36- month contracts for most 2001 and 2002 Ford brand cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans through Jan. 14, 2002. Low-interest rates also are being offered on longer-term contracts."

Ford Finance Rates
I talked to a new truck buyer this week. The 0% interest is available only to those people that don't need the low-interest rate in the first place. MINIMUM 10 grand down payment. I've heard of one guy that put down 6 grand, but haven't been able yo verify it. Just another gimmick to the working man.
