Water Leak

I have a 92 F-150 Nite. I've been noticing that the radiator is almost empty every time I check it, at least twice a week. I started to check it out and I saw water dripping from the Transmission Bell housing. I have not been able to find any leak, yet there must be one for me to loose the water from the radiator.

What I'm wondering is if anyone out there might have any ideas of where the leak is. If I have a leak in the head gasket would that affect how the engine is running?

All help will be appreciated.

Water Leak

I had the same problem & found the leak coming from the water pump rear gasket on my 87 F150. I bought a can of rad leak solution and it stopped the leak . I have used this stiff with sucess on small head gasket leak and even a cracked block. Sure is worth the $3

It is possible that you may have a freeze-out plug on the rear of the engine that is leaking and the only way to get to it would be separate the engine and trans. I would try a stop leak type product like the above post has mentioned. I am not a believer of stop leak products but I have used one by the name of Restore about three months ago. The stuff worked great. Just a thought. Good luck.
