Tranny Q?
Hello
Iv'e been looking for a tranny for a 351 cleveland.
Would a "ZF" tranny or that's what I think there called
5 speed from a newer truck bolt up to this engine. I would really like a 5 speed for my cleveland but I don't know what im looking for.
Late 80's early 90's were when the five speed for the 300 I-6 and the 302 were made, correct? Thanks in advance.

the 351C, although technically a BB, has a sB bellhousing pattern and any tranny with a sB bellhousing should bolt up no problems (as i'm sure you know the zf and mazda 5-speeds have integrated belhousings). The biggest problem is probably the hydro clutch.
