Does anyone know of a shock cover or boot that will protect the complete shock? Are those ones for the ATV's big enough for a Superduty with a 8" lift? Shock Socs for the big boys?
Mike
Because the dam thing's finish looks like s*&^ after a very short time, with the scratches and
rust spots. Mine are only 2 years old and covered with grind and primer spots. Some nice covers like the ones they use on the ATV's and small the racers would be nice?

Mike,
That's a new one on me, too. But, you may have answered your own question by mentioning the ATV's. Start by measuring how long of a boot you're going to need to cover the entire shock (at full extension, BTW) and go to or call Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha (probably Kawasaki, too) and see what they have. Make sure the boots they have will fit over the diameter of your shock. ATV shocks may be skinnier than vehicle shocks, I don't know.
