Hello all, I have a '84 Ford F-150 XLT std. cab and I recently rebuilt the motor and trans and restored the interior. All the interior is new or freshly painted. I currently don't have a seat in it and want to install a seat from a '92 - '96 F-150. My question is will the mounting holes line up right or will I have to make new ones? Any advice or knowledge is a big help. Thanks.

Do you have pics of your truck on this site because I have an 84 F150 XLT reg Cab all dressed up and restored and I would love to see pics. You can email them to me at fordkicksass69(No Email Addresses In Posts!) if thats possible.
If you have access to both seats, the fastest way to tell is to measure the distance from the mounting bolts, left to right accross the front of the seat and than measure the distance from the mounting bolts front to back. Do the same thing with the other seat and you will have a quick answer.
Best to check as I think the 97 and newer seats have a different
pattern.
jeez, you're bumming me out cricket. i can get this seat for $60 brand new, but i don't have access to it and i really didn't want to hear that it was different. i was all excited too. :-(
