Plug gap

Hey guys...

I have a set of GT-40Y heads on my 393, and I've got some AGSF-32C spark plugs for them, which ford recommends. However, they don't tell ya what the plug gap should be. I tried to call ford racing, but they're closed for the weekend. Anyone able to tell me what the plug gap should be on this combo? The factory gap probably isn't what it's suppose to be w/ these aftermarket parts. I called jegs too and they weren't able to tell me.

I'd say anywhere from .045 to .055 would be fine. Experiment a little and see which gap makes the truck run the best.

I'd start with using what ever your ignition system says to use. If it was .045 before you swapped heads try that.
