2004/2005 Super duty Bars/steps
Hey just wondering does anyone know for sure if they are interchangable in between years? My buddy is trading in his 04 and I have the 05 but have the black boards and would like to put on his 04 ford chrome bars. Is this possible? He says his mount to the frame in 3 spots and I loooked at mine which mount in five spots? Anybody know the answer for sure?

I am not sure about years prior to 2005, but I have the chrome "tubular cab steps" on my 2005 extended cab and they mount to the pinch welds under the rocker panels. If his mount to the frame I am not sure that they are OEM.
