Cat or Resonator?
Vechicle in question: early 99 F350 PSD with auto.
I am wondering how big the Cat converters that were found on certain PSDs.
Is it similar in size & shape to the cats found on 6.0Ls?
I got an interesting bulge in my exhaust system and i don't really think it is a cat. There is no exhaust flanges other than the one that connects the exhaust system to the down pipe.
Could this interesting bulge be a resonator?
Later (tomorrow), i will see if i can get a pic of it.
ps. this bulge is not found on my 2003 7.3L
