New Center Console installation question
My question is this, how does it bolt in? The center consoles I see on ebay look like this:

But the (useless) center seat I removed has mounting brackets and looks like this:

Is my dilemna clear? The seat has the brackets that bolt to the floor but I don't see how the console bolts down.
Do I remove the brackets from the seat and attach them them to the console?
Thanks, In advance for your help!

I bolted my center console from an Explorer right to the floor. Self tapping bolts in a couple locations along the back and it holds just fine.
Now for your truck, you may need to mount the console to the seat frame in order to bolt it down, as well as get it sitting at the right height. You should see how tall that console is, and should it sit on the floor directly or be mounted on the center seat frame to be at the right height?
The other thing you could do is wheel on down to your local Ford dealer and see if they have a bucket seat truck and take a look at that. You will see exactly how it is mounted by the factory.
