Engine Light on/off
I recently purchased an 88 F150 4x4 w/302 auto Shortbox. I was getting a check engine light at idle in/out of gear only after it is warmed up. I noticed the oil pressure gauge would read low at the same time. It wasn't bothering me, but in the meantime i put on a flowmaster catback exhaust, and it seems as though the engine light doesn't come on anymore but the oil pressure still reads low, but not as low as it was before the exhaust. It was a "cheapo" muffler thati took off the truck--could the muffler cause this problem?? And it has a newer cat on it also. Thanks, Randy-Seroius FORD fan
