I will have to tell you. I have a 1978 Ford LTD with a 400 in it. I have had nothing but good luck with this engine. It has great performance, reliable, and is descent on gas if you don't run the crap out of it. The nice thing is that if you need it too, it will get up and go for you. I have almost 200k miles on this engine and it is still tight and no problems. If you want an engine with descent speed and gas mileage, the 400 is the way to go. I wouldn't trade my 400 for anything else. The 351w is also a good motor, but I love my 400!! The LTD is a pretty big heavy car and that motor moves it like it is a feather!!

come and get it FOR FREE and told me im better with out it
