Body repair
A couple weeks ago some @#$!ers tried breaking the driver side window on my 01 Sport Trac. The window thankfully held up, but they smashed the rubber molding that runs along the bottom of the window on the exterior. I found a place that sells it for $35. I just want to know how its removed. I saw an acorn nut in the inside that looks like one of the holders, but wonder where the other ones are, and how to access them. Also as a result of the damage i have to replace a tail light, and pull a dent put in my tailgate. What were these *********s thinking? Body shop quoted me at $550 for everything! I found the parts online for about $80, and one of the local high schools has a very good body shop program that im going to take it to, but im doing the installation of the parts myself. All the school charges is parts, no labor, so it should be far cheaper than the body shop.
