Headlight Lens Yellowing Fixed! (Cheap)
The plastic headlight lenses on my 92 F150 and 95 E350 were doing the typical "yellowing" thing and I almost went out and bought new ones over $50 per lens on EBAY). Luckily, I found a product that took all of the haze and discoloring away in about 10 minutes. It is called Flitz (http://flitz.com) and is cream-like stuff in a tube. It is gentle enough for metals as well as fibreglass. I just rubbed it on the lenses and buffed it off. I can now see the interior bulb very clearly. One vehicle was in worse shape than the other, so it took a little more elbow grease. I put it on my car polisher and it saved me some time on the second vehicle. It's not cheap (about $20 for a tube about the size of a giant tube of toothpaste), but it can be used on a lot of things. It even took the hard water stains off of a shower door. (PS: I don't sell the stuff)
