Yoopers?
Do you alow Yoopers in your chapter? We are closer to you Wisconsin People than we are to the Michigan "Lopers" and, it is much closer, especially for us in the central and western U.P.

I don't know that there are any restrictions on who can or can't join the chapter. I'll check into the rules to make sure, though.
Personally, I welcome anyone that wants to join.

EDIT:
I just read through the rules for the chapters and it says nothing about location restrictions. In fact, they don't refer to the chapters by state. They say "region". So, join in and welcome to the chapter!
