Emissions test problem
2001 Eddie Bauer Expy 4x4 5.4l 75,000 miles.
I have failed two emissions tests now with this vehicle. It failed when the emissions center hooks up to the ODBII computer, because the I/M readiness codes are set to "Not Ready" for all the emissions equipment. (Cat, EGR, O2, etc) It passes perfectly fine when run on the treadmill, and all parameters are within the required ranges.
I have no codes in the computer, and no MIL on. The truck runs great, and we have never had a major problem with it. I just changed the oil and PCV valve, and cleaned the throttle-body. The emissions tests were two years apart, both times with the same failure. The dealer looked at the truck after the first time, couldn't find any codes, and reflashed the computer to be on the safe side.
So, any input? Do I have a flaky computer? One person on the Expy forum suggested that maybe the ECM was resetting itself periodically. Anyone else had an issue like this?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Does anyone know how many driving cycles are required before the I/M checks are supposed to complete? I am going to yank the battery cable off to reset the ECM, and monitor it for another week to see if they complete.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
