manifolds?
for a while i had just what pipe was left after the first cat for a exhaust on my truck. well while it was like that some gravel had shot into the cat, so i took the first cat off at the manifold union. well to to that i had to cut one of the studs and the other broke. i put it back to gether with the one bolt on each side until i got a exhaust on it. well its on it and i need to fix the studs. i was thinking of ways to fix them without pulling the manifolds, i thought, blow them out with the torch and then put a bolt in them, drill them out and put a bolt in them, bust out the mig. i dont want to do the latter as i would like to be able to remove them with out cutting some day. what do you think i should do? what are the manifolds made of? thanks in advance, drew
