shackle flip
i want to get rid of my rear lift blocks on my 79 bronco how hard is it to do reverse shackles and what do i need. I have heard i can use a front hanger moved to the rear or that i can use 80's f250 hangers. Just kicking ideas right now and want to get some stuff done for cheap.

well to do a shackle flip you can use the stock hanger, you just have to flip it upside down. you'll have to redrill the holes i think. then you just have to get or make a longer shackle. you could almost go as high as you want, i wouldnt go more than a few inches but thats just me. just remember the higher you go the further your axle is pushed forward. when you bolt the hanger back on, make sure you use grade 8 hardware.
