I had Motortrend for a long time untill recently but it is a good magazine and its cheap for a subscription like $12 a year. I like Car and Driver a little more though

Ya, I have been getting Car and Driver for a few years now and I like it alot. Even though I disagree with some car ratings and such, most of the time they are right on.

I read Motor Trend because they generally have more truck info. I like their photography more too, but Car & Driver seems to do the rest better: Writing, Editorials, comparisons, test results, etc.

I personally like EVO the best, all the cars are a little out of my league, but the photos, and journalistic content is without peer.

I like Vintage Trucks (had a nice write up on a '32 Ford BB dump truck, Oct. 2004; 1954 F-250, Dec. 2004; and a 1930 Model A pickup, Feb. 2005), Collectible Automobile (nice writeup on a '34 Ford BB stakebed in the latest issue) and Hemmings Classic Car

I used to get Automobile magazine, liked it too. It was free for me because I bought something at Barnes and Nobles so they gave me 2 years free subscription. Good writeups too. But if I were going to the store to buy a magazine (for auto's of course) it would be Truckin'.

I get Collectible Automobile. I have every issue since they started printing. Good glossy pages and lots of info on tech and other designs of car building. They cover models and old ads and provide a value list.
It is interesting to see some other designs they had for the cars and some proto types that they destroyed and never put on the road. It is very informative and a treat to see cars and trucks restored to original conditions. These photo help me with details of projects I work on.
One issue I remember had the first Monte Carlo in it and they had a 4dr car. It still looked sharp. They never produced them. I thought it would of went.
