The E4OD and the 4R100 are the same tranny just different designations. The AOD-E is the electronic version of the AOD. Some models came with wider gear ratios. This was later standardized and the transmission has subsequently been renamed the 4R70W. The E4OD was available on the 4.9 and the 5.0 through 1996. The 4.9 and 5.0 were then discontinued, the trannies live on under the new designations.
E4OD ratios are 2.71/1.53/1.00/0.71
4R70W ratios are 2.84/1.55/1.00/.70
older AOD-E ratios are 2.40/1.47/1.00/0.70
I believe AOD ratios were the same for the first 3 then 0.67 for the OD.
Don't know for sure about C4 and C6 ratios but they should be very close to 2.50/1.50/1.00, most 3 speeds were.
SR to the rescue again. Thanks! The main reason I thought that the E4OD wasn't offered is because my 96 commercial brochure states that it's not available. I don't know for sure myself.
