TSB Question
I have read a few of the TSBs for my 03 Expedition and wonder if my dealer is actually following the proper repair procedures. Is there anywehere to get the full TSB including repair steps?
My question is around the issues of door seals and also the windows thumping.
Any assitance would be appreciated. I want to see what I can find out before it goes back in next week.

I am having the same problems, in fact my '03 expedition has been at the dealer all week for this and I told them there was a TSB for the window rattling problem and gave them the number. They keep telling me there is no TSB for this so I just faxed them the TSB info from this site but have not heard back from them. All they have done so far is stuff some foam under the door handle.
I have tried the silicone around the window rubber gasket but does'nt seem to help.

Sorry to take so long to get back to you.
I gave them the TSB from this site listed as # 16222 and NHTSA # 10008601, they said neither were good numbers though. I did see the later post from racerguy and will try that #. Where did you get that # from though? I don't see anything numbered like that one the TSB listing.

What Dealer?
AustinRay, I am also in Austin (Round Rock). I have my service done at Mac-Haik. Bought it from Blue-Bonnet in New Braunsfels cause I Knew someone. Anyway what dealer are you dealing with? I have an 03,EB with the same problem. Said they couldn't duplicate the first time but its worse now.

Hey austinjorg,
I am also in Round Rock and have been dealing with Mac Haik. Have had nothing but problems with them since I bought the vehicle there. I ended up picking up the vehicle on Thursday without any resolution to this. They told me the same thing about they could not duplicate the problem and could not find a TSB for this. It was the fourth time I have had it in to them for this and your right it is just getting worse. Would like to talk to you some more about the problems we are having if you would like.

Is this only a problem on the eddie bauer ones or does this happen on the xlt popular series as well? I am going to be getting service done and wanted to know what to look for since I am going to be bringing it in anyway. What exactly is the problem?

Yes, mine is the XLT. The problem is the driver side window rattles. I have tried all the suggestions listed here and also given the TSB # to Mac Haik Ford and they keep telling me they can't find anything on it.
I am taking it to another dealler next week.

i also have bought expy's from mac haik, only because i know a salesman there.
as for service it sucks at mh. i drive 8 miles down the road to hutto, where i get great service. hope this helps.
