On my '95 EB the rear pass door won't open from the inside. It's been like this for quite a while, but after finding this site and fixing my blend door for nothing, I thought I'd tackle this problem.
I found that the inside door handle was broken, (probably from someone really reefing on it, trying to get out) and got a new one, BUT although the linkage rod now moves the door still won't open from the inside. I tried moving the rod manually and no joy there either!
Looks like the problem is in the latch assy. I got the 3 screws out, but I can not figure out how to get the latch assy out, or even in a position to see if I can see what's going on in there.
