I’m using jpeg avatar, works good. I just changed mine from Ronald McDonald to Curly from the three stooges.

BTW, what a masterpiece. That is the most beautiful truck I’ve ever seen. REALLY

On the other hand, .gif format seems to work also...
(And thanks for pointing me toward the Avatar option)

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 13-Nov-01 AT 03:40 AM (EST)]edit: hmmm...guess I need to work on this a little. The image file gets sorta squashed if you try to make a vertical image into 48x48. I'll try cropping the photo square.

Hi, If you click on the preview button instead of the post message button, you can view your post without posting it. Then if all looks good, click the post message button to post it. Hope this helps.

Will an animated gif work?

Let's find out!

PS: On the emoticons -

You can copy and past the image source from properties after right clicking on them, and still have "emotion icons" set to stay out of your message.

It comes out like this:

Looky, looky! https://www.ford-trucks.com/dcforum/Images/bounce.gif That way you can drop them in anywhere, and not have to worry about double-"O"s in your post, for one thing...

The AVATAR image won't show on the preview, and an emoticon won't (by itself) -

But posting the url of the image for the emoticon will cause it to show on the preview.

*winks*
