adjustable timing set, what to set it to?

adjustable timing set, what to set it to?

Hey Everyone,

i need some help with my edelbrock timing set. it has 3 settings, retarded, 0, and advanced. which will give me the best performance on an almost 100% stock 460, aside from the carb. thanks alot

Straight up, or "0" SHOULD be the best choice for a stocker. The retarded position is what you basically wnat to avoid, it's like the 70's smog motors. The advanced position would work best with a modified engine. The "0" position would be like the pre-71 engines were.
