New diesels

Hello
I was just wondering what anybody knows about Ford coming out with a new diesel in 07, i want a new truck but there is no way im buying a 6.0, also heard that dodge was coming out with a bigger motor in 07 also, just wondering if they would stay with the cummins or go with a mercedes this time around, im trying to get my wife to buy a jeep liberty with the little mercedes diesel in it but she doesnt like the jeep
just wondering if any body knows anything, or what the rumors are

Wait till 07

If you can't, the 6.0l is actually a darn good vehicle, and has its problems ironed out.

That is the rumor. A 6.4L. Other than that not much is known yet except it will have more power and less emissions.

If you don't like the 6.0 because it has problems, don't you think the next new diesel will have problems in the beginning. By 07 the 6.0 will look real good.

It has a lot of new diesels including a new Mercedes to replace their 5 cylinder that has been so great.

Mercedes has had a V6 Diesel on the cards for a while.
In Europe their current offerings struggle against the likes of BMW, Jaguar et al.

I heard something about the new diesel having a twin turbo system... one low end and one high end turbo kinda deal

i also heard that the 6.4L would be twin turbo. didn't hear anything about it using one turbo for low end and another for high end. but some vehicles use that configuration.
