I'm sure one of the Niagara region guys will tune in soon enough.
Which town are you in?
If you are having any problems with your truck, feel free to post your questions no matter how big or small.
Have you already tried posting in the forum for your truck?
AL.
She said (in her introduction post) that she is in the St. Catherines region.
Yes, someone from that area will come by soon probably. As AL (Dealford) suggested you should go to you specific truck year forum and post a question there. Good luck and nice to have you on board!
The things is getting the parts are no good to me unless I can get my husband to put them on. That is what got me into this mess in the first place. But no use bitching. I know I need a rear end job for sure. That is for starters and what is most important.
She is an 86 F150, Lariat. And I am in Ridgeway. Close to Fort Erie.
Thanks for looking after me. I am starting to feel like there is hope that I will be back on the road with my baby soon. I am driving this car right now and she is nice but it's an old ladies car. I have always made a point of not driving my truck if it needed work and I am going to wait till the work is done.
Veronica! My parents live in between Crescent Park and Ridgeway and my dad is an absolute bear when it comes to servicing his vehicles. Right now their line is busy and I have to pop out to go to work for the morning, but when I come home for lunch I'll ask my dad where he takes his truck for service. Bear with me, I'll get back to you!
Victoria - Sorry about the delay! My dad went to Thunder Bay for work, so I could not ask him until he came back. He gets his vehicles fixed by a man named Red Shoenwald. His number is 991-8381 and works out of his garage. If the job is too big for him, your next best bet is Finlayson's. They are on Gilmore Rd. just east of the QEW. My dad has taken his vehicles to both places and has been quite satisfied with the work.
Well I am your Bears cousin. I love my truck, and never understand how people can disrespect other people's things especially when we are good enough to lend them out. How stupid of me. But that is spilt milk. I like your dad probably really wanted that truck for along time, and I don't know how old your dad is , but I am 50 and the kind of money we had to pay for our vehicles is more than we thought we'd ever pay. The Bear is more than likely because he has old fashion values and like me, just don't understand people anymore. I come from the east coast, even the garage down the road was there to help his neighour not to rip him off.
I would never be able to afford a new one now. I can't believe the prices.
