increasing oil flow
Hello all, I have an 88 b2 with a 2.9. I was wondering about opening up the oil passages o the valve train and possibly the crank. Has anyone done this and do you have the spec or process on how to do it? Thanks in advance.

You can do the free floating lifter mod, it helps with noisy lifters, gets more oil to the top end and frees up HP. I think this is cover in Sven Pruett's book, How to build and modify ford v-6 engines. Never heard of a mod on the crankshaft, I would worry about losing upper oil pressure.
