the ones used from 73 to 79 are galvanized and are nearly identical . you have to drill only two holes to make them work on our truck. they dont rust very easily because of the galvanizing. so hit the salvage yard and you should be able to get one of these fairly easy
year one told me that will not work. have u done this do u know it works for sure. i have found 73 - 79 4 120.00 and if u have done this before i will order it friday. thanks p.s. 4 cammer u have some cool ****
i have two trucks that ive had put the later model radiator support in. on one of them i also used the inner fenders. just a few holes to drill and youre good to go. look in the junkyards though. $120 seems outrageous to me, but maybe parts are just cheap around here.
i still think youd be better off to just find one in the junkyard for a lot cheaper and they are just as good becuase they arent rusted out. just paint it up and it will look brand new.
I live in vegas and can easily find core supports completly rust free damage free for $50. if your anywheres near vegas it might be worth the shipping.
