I just had mine done at 104,000. Truck starts like new now. Cam Sensor went so it was already in the shop.
My service guy charged me $23 a plug. For labor he said he had 2 guys working on it for 4 hrs (8 man/hrs) taking the top apart and putting it back together again.
I would change them if your going to be in there anyway. Other wise with summer comming you will probably start okay until September.
I don't know wether I want to spend the time or the money to change them next time but now I have a 100k miles to think about it.
Do a search for glow plugs in this forum and I think you'll be blown away at how many threads you get pop up about them. Even if you have the shop change them for you it will be a good education on plugs for you to read some of the threads.

attn westladog iam a ford diesel tech if your engine is a powerstroke with no starting concerns dont touch it have seen lots with tons of k that have never been touched as far as a dealer charge would be about 4hrs for one man that includes r+r both rocker covers harnesses and plugs but if it isnt broke why fix it but if you do have a starting concern have somone check the relay frist and all plugs can be checked without removing valvecovers

Thanks for the tips. But my problem is very conconsistent. The error code will come up and disapppears all in the same day. The only way that I can tell that there is a problem is when the "Door Ajar" light stays on. WHen that happens, I plug the Predator in and the error code would show "P03820" which indicates a relay problem....(?)
