Help me PLEASE !

Guys,

I have an 02 XLT (V6), I was attempting to make it sound better, deep powerful truck sound (I know I should have bought the V8) so I went and threw a Flow Master 50 Series muffler in it and know I sound like I'm driving a Honda Civic !?
I don't even want to fire her up anymore....
Suggestions ? Different muffler ? Is what I want even possible with the 6 cylider engine ?

I hate my new HONDA !

Go to a place that specializes in exhausts and tell them exactly what you want. They should be able to help you out.

I had a FlowMaster 40 on my '02 XLT V6, and it sure didn't sound like no stinkin' Honda!

Nope, not to me.....just a nice throaty rumble. Got the 40 on my '04 V8 and it sounds great also.

Well, I tried two muffler "experts", the first one was the one that made 'er sound like a civic, the second said - "you want that nice deep V8 power noise, get a V8" .....

I had them switch to a Flowmaster 70 series, less honda-ish, still not what exactly what I wanted but at least I'm not embarrassed !
