incorrect tach reading
[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 24-May-01 AT 04:17 PM (EST)[/font][p]I have replaced my duraspark II with a msd ready to run dist. now the factory in-dash tach reads about 1000 rpm high at cruising speeds. did the duraspark II system use so type of resitor and if so is there any way to fix this problem

Thanks for the info I have twice e-mail tech support without a reply for them I guess that I will try the old fashion way of usinf a land line. Also for any one else that might like to try a stab at this problem the pickup is a 1983 F-150 351w
