Is Rear window same 73-96??
I remembered something I was told by a guy who had owned too many Ford trucks, about the rear windows on 73-79 trucks being the same as the ones for 80-96. This was a couple of years ago and I don't remember what year he said they stopped, I think he said til 96, but it could have been an earlier year in 80s. Thanks in advance fordlovers, be nice to know for sure!

You can use the woindow and the gasket and if it is a stock slider for the later one you have to use the later gasket as it will not fit into and early gasket. I prefer the slider from the 80's as they have a bigger opening, they have only one part that slides, and they do not fall apart like the earlier ones seem to. I even installed one in my Super Cab and another in the shell front opening so they now match. Hawkrod
