please help with e4od problem
I rebuilt the e4od transmission in my 93 ford f250(351 engine).I can manually shift the gears and it shifts fine till it goes into 3rd.Once in 3rd. when you give it the gas it wants to slip and sounds like an engine that is not getting any oil.I should tell you that i am not an expert in tranny repair,as for as I know everything is in the right place.Is there any one who can point me in the right direction as to what may cause this acction.

You might want to ask this question down in the transmission forum. A lot of tranny experts do hang out there.
What happens if you just put the tranny in "drive" instead of manually shifting?
