15K service

Hey people, my rigs approaching the 15K mark, and I called the dealer today to find out a price on the service for 15K, and they quoted my over $350.00!!! I asked them what all happens at this service, and it doesnt sound much more than an oil change, and to check the fluids and filters, well, actually change the fuel filters, and grease up some fittings.... Sounds like $350.00+ is a bit pricey....Im thinking for the most part I can do this stuff my self....Im debating if I should take it in,or do it my self???? Whay have you guys done????

To me it just is wrong to be paying somebody to do anything that I can do myself (but that's just me!) When I looked in the manual it looked like I should easily be able to do the service work myself. I will do that, and if I were to have any problems I know I could get all the help I need here on this site

So I say, Go for it yourself too....if you like to do your own work! They will help you out with any problems that arrise

I did my own 15,000 and 30,000. All the procedures are in the ......Tech Folder.... near the start of the 6.0 Forum.

I still owe you guys the trans fluid change.

Do it yourself. It is not that hard.
