Remote door lock control
Hey gurus,
Is it possible to install a remote door lock control on a 93 Aero XLT? My door lock is very sticky and it is frustrating. Everything I've tried has not worked. I thought boy if I only could install a remote door lock, I would be very happy man, not that I am not already mind you.

You can buy kits, that allow you to set up any 12 volt circuit as remote operated. This includes the power locks. The ones I've seens at Autozone control 4 circuits, so you can make it do other stuff too, like turn on the lights, or whatever you want really. Most auto parts stores should have these.

I have installed a remote door lock system from Bull Dog security on my '96 Aerostar. It works with the exsisting electric door locks. It was pretty easy to install if you don't mind crawling around under the dash. I consider it a must have aftermarket add on for the Aerostar. I think I paid less than $50 for it.
