Clutch master pulling away
The T18 to ZF swap coming along but as you know nothing is easy the first time. I noticed as I waa bleeding the slave cylinder that where the master cylinder attaches to the firewall it is pulling away when you push on the clutch. It looks like the glue or epoxy holding the bracket on is coming apart. Any suggestions on how to reattach?

Clutch master pulling away
welcome to the world of firewall stress. this is a common problem with some years, i just fixed mine two days ago when i replaced my master, the metal was so distorted around that top bolt i couldn't get a wrench on it to save my life- so i cut it off. ford makes a kit that bolts to the inside of the firewall and beefs up the area, but i just went a hed and made one of my own. clutch works great now!
