I have a 2005 F250 CC PSD SB 4wd Lariat and I want to add the Firestone air bags. I have been told there are two models for my truck, 2071 and 2380. The 2071 has to have holes drilled in the frame and supposedly the 2380 doesn't; yet, the 2380 is cheaper. Is the one that has to be drilled that much better?
i went to two different websites (one being firestones http://www.ride-rite.com/ ) and could only find the listing for the 2071 for your truck, i could not find the 2380 number anywhere. i have the ones like the 2071 and the work great. i did have to drill the frame
I kinda wonder the same thing, I've been looking to do this to my 03' and it has the same deal, drill holes or also the no drill application and they are within $10 of each other, I guess I don't get it, why drill holes if you don't have to. Also for those of you that have air bags where did you run you're filling hoses? fender wells, rear bumper, Just looking for some sugestions, I'm not planning on putting a compressor in.
The kit number escapes me right now, but there is a no drill kit for your truck that works very well. It goes inside the frame versus the outside frame kit that requires drilling. The only problem with the inner frame kit is that it sometimes interferes with gooseneck, 5thwheel hitches, and dual exhaust or big single exhaust on diesels. Both kits are damn nice, and drilling through the frame isnt a big deal at all, I put my drilled kit on in about an hour.

i ran mine straight back in the frame rail and there are holes already in the bumper on each side (at least on my '01 there where) to mount the valves
