jimbob21rc I like that billit grill on yours, also those candy apple red springs are a nice touch . Never crossed my mind to paint the springs before I installed them. It's never too late to break out the paint! I wanted to put a 6" lift on mine, but I had would of had to get a the drive shaft extended a few inches too. That wasn't apart of the lift kit so I just went with the 4" to save additional headacks.
my springs i bought that way from skyjacker, i got a 2'' lift on the front sky. springs and sky hydro shocks done it to level it out, but now i want to go way up so i am going t go with the 6'' when i get the money i might just start buying a peice at a time if i have to then i am going to put 35's on.
The guy at Eastern Off Road told me wrong about the drive shaft then. I did notice that after I put the lift on the splines on the drive shaft where sticking out about 2" from the transmission. But now, after years gone by, when i get under the truck to grease u-joints it seems to have gone back in. I think there is some play after the carrier bearing in a slip joint on the drive shaft that has allowed this to happen. Wish I talked to some guy like you first before I purchased it. 6" lift wasn't that much more than the 4" lift.
Oh just give up now, forget the 6" at this point it's only another 2" just go SAS, and 12" lift cause you know your gonna eventually too.
Oh almost forget Nice lookin truck though I do like it, the rest of this is just feeding your fever some.
