rusty door sill surprise
I figured I'd wash my today thoroughly before the race and found a huge surprise. The truck is totally rustless under the body and frame, except when I took off the plastic door sills and found a really gross looking floor pan as I lifted up the rubber flooring. I used por-15, so hopfully it should stop, but what a surprise. I did find however that the 3m 1200 grit liquid paste they have really makes the headlights and tail lights shine up real good

did that paste make the headlights a lot clearer, if so where can i find some my lights are dingy lookin and can't seem to get that yellow film off, and i found the same nasty stuff under my sill plate they should call it a clutter catcher, it did pay off cleaning under it though, it took me about 10 minutes to clean under them and i found about $5 in change along with other things.

the paste worked well, its made by 3m its just a 1200 grit paste, it smoothed all the minor scrathes in the lenses. I drilled a small hole under the headlights a while ago and the lights imstantly cleared up if that might help too.
