i've taken my tranny out for the third time. first time i had a bad front seal a 5 dollar part. the second time i had the old converter cut grooves in my newer tranny now i have to replace the front sleeves but i cant figure out how...any one have a sugestion it would be appreciated, thanks
Not sure what you mean by "front sleeves"? Do you mean the bushing in the pump? Where the hub of the torque converter rides?
If so, you have to pull and diss-assemble the pump, knock the bushing out and drive a new one in with a proper bushing driver.
Do I understand you put your old converter in a new transmission? Oh, and typically a front seal leak and a scored bushing mean the tranny is runnint waaay too hot.
