Flash in 6.0
What is the current version for the reflash on the 6.0? My '04 goes in the shop next week for axle issues...and want to make sure they do not flash my truck. All is working in that area...

I just ordered my first 250 with 6.0 last week. Reading through these forums I've seen alot about "flash" and "reflash". Can someone please tell me what these terms mean? Hope this is not a stupid question!!!

The firmware (flash) for the PCM, FICM and TCM will be installed from the factory at the time of the engine build. After that, the latest won't be installed until sold and you come in to the deale to have something fixed.

Look at the ones that start with WDS xx.xx then the year model in () for what should be the latest flash for your year.
For the 03 F250/350 it is 3U7A-12A650-FTE. The last three letters will be different for models. For example, the Excursion is FXE.

When posting a reply that is directly above … THERE IS NO NEED TO USE THE QUOTE FUCTION....lets say we get 2500 posts a week, just
