Colant System Pressure Test

I am Losing Coolant.

I put my pressure tester on the the radior today and the air bubbles up through the radiator any ideas why this is????

Do you get bubbles in the radiator with the engine running? What year, truck, engine are you testing?

No no bubbles comming back while the engine is runningas soon as i turn the engine off the coolant will flow out of the radiator. and it is a 96 Explorer 4.0

Sorry sorry sorry. just read my first post and there was an error the when i pump the tester the ther bubbles are through the resavour not the radiator

The pressure tester is not correctly sealing to the radiator neck. If the pressure tester does not seal, the radiator cap also may not seal. Take a close look at the neck and the sealing surfaces to see if that is the problem.

Got it. The Butterfly on my heater valve broke and was cloging up the system. Coolant was then leaking out of this valve fwiw
