Ok well you all know about the problems i had with the drive shaft ,and was thinking about what else to do so i came up with this idea.
1. at the t-case where the drive shaft would mount i would take and make a shaft that would bolt on the flange with two externall bearings to give extra support and run a chain sprocket with chain down to a point at about the same level as the original drive shaft would mount to another sprocket and bearing set up with a flange on that shaft to mount a stock drive shaft to .
2. if you follow me so far this would only be for the front shaft but i'm not sure about it changing the gear ratio (WILL IT OR NOT ? ) and if this will work what size in diameter should the sprocket be ?
3. just a thought so let me know if this might work or if it's just a dumd idea .
thanks .

If you're saying what I think you're saying it's a dumb idea. Sounds remotely like what the BigFoot with the 10 foot tires is running but they're running a chain to a dropped transfer case. It would take a hell of a chain to hold up to that engine. What's the problem with that driveshaft? It sounds to me like the only problem was the clip wasn't properly in place. If you replace the U-joint and get the clip in place you're good to go. If the whole angle is just too much you'd be best to turn the C's and point the pinion up or go to a divorced transfer case and clock it.

ok thanks and as far as the drive shaft i tested it out today and everything seems fine now that i put a new u-joint in and made sure all the c-clips were in place
THANKS AGAIN
